Please join The G.A.P. Network for our upcoming Grief Conference! This event aims to provide valuable insights on grief and loss, welcoming those affected by stigmatized loss and mental health professionals such as prevention specialists, counselors, and social workers. The conference will focus on navigating grief in professional settings and developing strategies to support and enhance community capacity. Key topics include cultural competence in addressing grief, an in-depth look into stigmatized loss, and a narrative on recovery and the significance of reducing stigma related to substance misuse and grief. Due to the sensitive nature of this topic, the workshop will also provide a counselor and therapy dog onsite for the entire day. Prevention, Social Work, and Counseling CEs will be applied for.
