About the We Are Change Rally

The We Are Change Rally is a statewide celebration and gathering of youth dedicated to elevating the message around youth choosing to be substance-free and active contributors fueled by knowledge, skills, and attributes to impact positive change in their communities throughout the state. Since its beginning in 2012, thousands of young people from across the state have convened in Columbus annually to show their commitment to a healthy lifestyle, deconstruct the stigma around teen substance misuse, and support one another with like-minded individuals.

This event is designed by youth, for youth, and will leave them feeling energized, inspired, and empowered to continue creating positive change for themselves, their peers, and their communities!

Registration is free and includes lunch, stellar swag, and parking. (The Rally is scheduled indoors, ensuring it's on no matter the weather!)

Marisa Smock Award Nomination Application:

For the last several years, OYLPN has had the honor of presenting a young person in Ohio with the Marisa Smock Award. This young person should possess the same outstanding characteristics that Marisa embodied:

positivity
passion for prevention
ability to make others feel like they belong
enthusiasm for leadership
ability to bring people together

Calling all youth performers!

If you have a special talent, we would love for you to showcase it at the We Are Change Rally on April 19, 2024.

Youth Passion Project Application:

We are looking for youth and youth programs to submit videos highlighting the work they completed during 2023! The passion project can be big or small, local or statewide. These short videos may be shown at the 2024 We Are Change Rally, where 1,200 youth can share in the excitement for the work you have been doing!
